The memories are fresh, and I’m eagerly anticipating my next opportunity to immerse myself in its unique charm.

There’s a curious duality to the end of a trip. The undeniable comfort of sleeping in your own bed after days of adventure is truly a highlight. However, this comfort often comes hand-in-hand with the jolt of returning to the daily grind, the emails, and the responsibilities that patiently awaited your return. On vacation, the rules bend a little. It’s perfectly acceptable, even encouraged, to dine out for every meal, to skip a workout (or three), and to let your inbox patiently wait. My trip to New York was no exception to this delightful indulgence.
